SPP 2/92: Planning for Aerodromes and other Aeronautical Facilities 1.0
This state planning policy set out broad principles for protecting airports and associated aeronautical facilities from encroachment by incompatible developments in the interests of maintaining operational integrity and community safety. SPP 2/92 was replaced by SPP 1/02 Development in the Vicinity of Certain Airports and Aviation Facilities.

SPP 1/97: Conservation of koalas in the Koala Coast 1.0
This state planning policy set out broad principles for the protection of koala habitat in the Koala Coast from inappropriate development. SPP 1/97 was replaced by SPP 1/05: Conservation of Koalas in SEQ which was repealed on 8 July 2005 when it was replaced by the South East Queensland Koala Conservation State Planning Regulatory Provisions (SPRP) and the State Planning Policy 2/10: Koala Conservation in South East Queensland (SPP)

Temporary SPP 1/09: Reconfiguration of a lot code for land in Indigenous local government areas to which a local planning scheme does not apply
This was a temporary state planning policy to facilitate Indigenous local government assessment of development applications for reconfiguring a lot and any associated operational works for the purposes of both commercial and private residential housing and ancillary development. Being a temporary SPP, it lapsed one year after commencement. A new SPP is currently being drafted to replace SPP1/09.

Temporary SPP 1/10: Protecting Wetlands of High Ecological Significance in Great Barrier Reef Catchments
Temporary SPP1/10 was developed and implemented to ensure that development in or adjacent to wetlands of high ecological significance in Great Barrier Reef catchments was planned, designed, constructed and operated to prevent the loss or degradation of wetlands and their values, or enhance these values, in particular, the hydrological regime and ecological values of those wetlands. Temporary SPP 1/10 was replaced by Temporary SPP 1/11 (see below).
