Giving effect to the state's interests through policy
The Queensland Government is currently reviewing how it expresses its interest in planning through the draft Planning Regulation, updated State Planning Policy (SPP) and revised State Development Assessment Provisions (SDAP).
The review aims to ensure the state’s interests in land use planning and development assessment are clearly, accurately and appropriately expressed.
The commencement of the state’s new planning legislation in mid-July has provided a timely opportunity to review how to entire planning system operates.
Learn more, have your say on the draft documents, and find out about upcoming information sessions in key locations around Queensland.
