Since the commencement of the Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009 (SP Regulation), there have been a number of amendments made which are detailed below. Please note any amendments to the SP Regulation initiated and led by other state agencies are not necessarily listed below.

Amendments commencing 30 January 2017

Sustainable Planning Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2017

  • Amends schedule 6 to include the chief executive as the assessment manager where a proposed development is an assessable development adjoining a Queensland heritage place and is not made an assessable development by local government and introduce an associated fee.
  • Ensures that a development that is a Priority Development Area related development is not an assessable development in schedule 3 for a development adjoining a Queensland heritage place or requiring referral in schedule 7 for building works on a Queensland heritage place.
