Reasons for giving direction (Reference number 7) Subject to conditions, the minister is satisfied the Councils planning scheme mapping and provisions will achieve an appropriate balance of state interests, including those referred to in the direction notice, without the need for the direction.

Directions (Reference number 4) Direct Moreton Bay Regional Council to amend its draft planning scheme to remove any assumption about a theoretical projected sea level rise due to climate change from all and any provisions of the scheme.
Reasons for giving directions (Reference number 4) This direction is necessary to give effect to the guiding principles and state interests articulated in the State Planning Policy (SPP). The guiding principles are central to the interpretation of policies about matters of state interest.
