The Queensland Government is now in caretaker mode until after the state election. Minimal updates will be made to this site until after the election results are declared.

The Queensland Government, through the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, is the owner of the Northern Peninsula Area (NPA) Water Supply System that services the five communities of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council (NPARC). As the owner of the NPA system, the department is the registered service provider under the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008.

The department is responsible for the quality of potable water provided to the communities of the NPARC.
